I’m grateful for the relationships and support that have come from that experience,” said Ohnoutka. “Being the head coach of two sports one after the other and afterward the summer commitments have prompted this decision. Right now I want to put my energy toward our softball program.”
Hastings Boys Head Coach Drew Danielson was the other Head Coach that declared his departure on Tuesday.
In four seasons, Ohnoutka went 56-43 with the basketball program and finished as District Second place three times.
