American Scottie Scheffler came out on top for his second Bosses championship with an ice-cool four stroke triumph at Augusta Public on Sunday.
Scheffler, the world number one and 2022 Bosses victor, shot a last cycle four-under standard 68 to end on 11-under for the competition with Experts beginner Ludvig Aberg of Sweden completing as the second place.
It was an exemplary presentation of tranquility and accuracy from Scheffler, who maintained his spotlight in the wake of making intruders on the fourth and seventh openings to take off with the challenge on the back nine.
Scheffler started the round with a single shot lead over individual American Collin Morikawa yet the challenge took an unequivocal turn on the 10th opening.
Morikawa twofold missed and Scheffler made birdie and the three-stroke swing left the 24-year-old Aberg his nearest challenger after the turn.
However, after Aberg twofold missed the eleventh, the result was in Scheffler’s protected hands and the 27-year-old Texan ensured triumph with birdies on 13, 14 and 16.
The success is Scheffler’s third triumph of the time coming after his successes Under control Slope and the Players Title a month ago.
